Subject line: Your First SEO Marketing For Newbies Issue

Hello "autoresponder code here",

Welcome to the first issue of SEO Marketing For Newbies .

In each issue of "SEO Marketing For Newbies " you will learn
valuable information on how you can use search engine
optimization to get traffic to your business website.

In this first issue were going to go over exactly what search
engine optimization is and how search engines work.

Let's start with an overview of search engine optimization (SEO).

Basically SEO is a process of choosing the most appropriate and
targeted keyword phrases related to your website and working to
get them to rank your site in the search engines so that when
someone searches for the keywords or phrases it returns your site
on the top of the search engine results page. Basic SEO involves
fine tuning the content of your site along with the HTML and Meta
tags. It also involves a good link building process.

The most popular search engines are Google, Yahoo, MSN
Search, AOL and Ask Jeeves.

Search engines keep their methods and ranking algorithms
secret, to get credit for finding the most valuable search-results
and to prevent spam pages from clogging the results. A search
engine may use hundreds of factors while ranking the listings
where the factors themselves and the weight each carries may
change continually.

Algorithms can differ so widely that a webpage that ranks #1 in
one search engine could rank #200 in another. New sites don't
necessarily have to be "submitted" to search engines to be listed.
A simple link from a well established site will get the search
engines to visit the new site and begin to spider its contents. It can
take a few days to even weeks from the referring of a link from
such an established site for all the main search engine spiders to
visit and index the new site.

Now let's talk about how the search engines actually work. They
use spiders to crawled your website pages and index them. A
spider is an automated program that is run by the search engine
system. The spider visits a web site, reads the content on the
actual site, the site's Meta tags and also follow the links that the
site connects to. The spider then returns all that information back
to a central depository, where the data is indexed. It will visit each
link you have on your website and index those sites as well.

The spider will periodically return to the sites to check for any
information that has changed. The frequency with which this
happens is determined by the moderators of the search engine.

A spider is almost like a book that contains a huge table of
contents, the actual content and the links and references for all the
websites it finds during its search, and it may index up to a million
pages a day.

When you ask a search engine to locate information, it is actually
searching through the index which it has created and not actually
searching the Web. Different search engines produce different
results and rankings because not every search engine uses the
same algorithm to get the job done.

One of the things that a search engine algorithm scans for is the
frequency and location of keywords on a web page, but it can also
detect artificial keyword stuffing. Then the algorithms analyze the
way that pages link to other pages in the Web. By checking how
pages link to each other, an engine can both determine what a
page is about, if the keywords of the linked pages are similar to
the keywords on the original page.

I know this may sound a bit confusing if you're new to SEO
but don't worry once you take the time to learn the basics you find
that it's not as complicated as you may think.

Now, if you don't want to research and choose keywords and work
on your own search engine ranking, you may want to hire
someone to do the work for you.

There are many marketing and promotion companies available
that will to all of the work for you or simply look at your site and
make recommendations to increase your search engine ranking
and website traffic. They will also provide ongoing consultation
and reporting to monitor your website and make
recommendations for editing and improvements to keep your site
traffic flow and your search engine ranking high.

Normally your SEO experts work with your web designer to build
an integrated plan right away so that all aspects of design are
considered at the same time.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking
about the importance of search engines to your business.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about what search engine optimization
is and how search engines work. In this issue we are going to go
over the importance of search engines to your business.

The search engines can play a very important role in the success
of your business. They can also provide you with unlimited
amounts of free traffic and visitors. Recent studies have shown
that the average shopper will go to the search engine and do a
search before deciding whether or not they want to make a
purchase

When they perform that search the search engine will sift through
the millions of pages it has indexed about and present them with
ones that match their requests. The matches are ranked so that
the most relevant ones come first.

It is also good to keep in mind that your prospective customer will
probably only look at the first page of listings in the search results.
So it does matter where your website appears in the search
engine ranking. Statistics show that most people use one of the
top 6-7 search engines and these search engines attract more
visitors to websites than anything else.

When your businesses competing with hundreds if not thousands
of other businesses for the top spot it makes it easy to understand
why search engines are so important to the success of your
business. It all depends on which search engines the customers
use and how they rank your site.

It is the keywords and phrases that you choose that play the most
important role when it comes to SEO for the online or offline
advertising of your website via the search engines.

As I mentioned earlier, when customers want to find a website
for information or to buy a product or service, they find what they
are looking for in one of the following ways:

- The first option is they find a site through a search engine.

- Secondly they find a site by clicking on a link from another
website or page that relates to the topic in which they are
  interested.

- Or they find a site by hearing about it from a friend
  or reading in an article.

Thus its obvious the most popular way to find a site, by search
engine, represents more than 90% of online users. In other words,
only 10% of the people looking for a website will use methods
other than search engines.

Now, I hope you understand how important the search engines can
be to the success of your business and why you should learn and
use a variety of SEO techniques to get your business website to
rank well in the popular search engines.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking
about the importance of keyword density.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about why search engines are so
important to the success of your business. In this issue we are
going to go over the importance of keyword density.

Keyword density is an indicator of the number of times the
selected keyword appears on a web page. But mind you,
keywords shouldn't be over used, but should be just sufficient
enough to appear at important places.

If you repeat your keywords with every other word on every line,
then your site will probably be rejected as an artificial site or spam
site. Keyword density is always expressed as a percentage of the
total word content on a given web page.

Suppose you have 100 words on your webpage (not including
HMTL code used for writing the web page), and you use a certain
keyword for five times in the content. The keyword density on that
page is got by simply dividing the total number of keywords, by the
total number of words that appear on your web page. So here it is
5 divided by 100 = .05. Because keyword density is a percentage
of the total word count on the page, multiply the above by 100, that
is 0.05 x 100 = 5%

The accepted standard for a keyword density is between 3% and
5%, to get recognized by the search engines and you should never
exceed it.

Remember, that this rule applies to every page on your site. It also
applies to not just to one keyword but also a set of keywords that
relates to a different product or service. The keyword density
should always be between 3% and 5%.

here are some simple steps to check the density:

- Copy and paste the content from an individual web page into
a word-processing software program like Word or Word Perfect.

- Go to the Edit menu and click Select All. Now go to the
Tools menu and select Word Count. Write down the total
number of words in the page.

- Now select the Find function on the Edit menu. Go to the
Replace tab and type in the keyword you want to find. Replace
that word with the same word, so you dont change the text.

- When you complete the replace function, the system will
provide a count of the words you replaced. That gives the number
of times you have used the keyword in that page.

- Using the total word count for the page and the total number
of keywords you can now calculate the keyword density.

To achieve the best results it is important to have the first 250
words of your copy be keyword rich.

A good tip is to write your content first, then choose your keywords
and/or keyword phrases from the content. Rewrite your content as
needed, adding keywords and/or keyword phrases that pertain to
the theme of the content. This way, you've chosen keywords and/or
keyword phrases that are relevant to your content, instead of trying
to write content to fit your keywords and/or keyword phrases.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking
about keyword research and tools that you can use to get the job
done more efficiently.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about The importance of keyword
density. In this issue we are going to talk about keyword research
and tools that you can use to find the best keywords and phrases
for your business.

When you are doing your keyword research is the good rule of
thumb to choose keywords that are frequently searched
for and are in high demand, but not being used by to many other
websites and competitors.

Keyword research can be broken down into a three step process.
The first step is the discovery phase. In this step you want to focus
on identifying as many keywords or phrases as possible.

Initially you need to sit down and make a list of keyword/keyword
phrases that describe the topic of your website. You can do this by
jotting down, descriptive words that come to mind, and by using
your dictionary. At this point include every word or phrase that you
can think of.

There are several keyword tools that are available to help you
generate a keyword list. This makes the job much easier. Some of
these tools are free, like Goodkeywords.com and the Google
Adwords Tool while others like Wordtracker.com are fee based.
With these tools you will be able to generate hundreds of keyword
phrases quickly and easily.

I prefer the Google Keyword Tool. It generates potential keywords
for your ad campaign and reports statistics, including search
performance, seasonal trends and the best part is it's free.
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

It has some very useful features that include:

- Sorting the results of your desired keyword search by
popularity, past performance history within the AdWords system,
  cost, and predicted ad position.

- Easy keyword manipulation where you can select a few
keywords here and there or add them all at once.

- Searches for keywords present even in any webpage URL
specified by your search. It can also expand your keyword search
even further to include those pages that are linked to or from the
  original URL page.

- More keyword results are generated based on regularly
updated usage statistics database. This helps you to get new
  keywords or phrases.

It also provides you with tips on how to use the tool to get the best
results, so that you can easily narrow down your final selection of
keyword phases.

Of course there are many more options available besides the
Google Keyword Tool. Below is a quick list of some that you can
try out.

Word tracker

SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool

Global Promoter

And that is just a few. Ultimately, which tool you decide to use
is completely up to you. There are many available. I recommend
testing out a few before you make your final decision to find one
that works best for you.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about keyword research and tools.
In this issue we are going to go over steps you need to take when
submitting your website to the search engines.

As we have discussed before one of the best ways to get the most
out of your advertising and marketing campaign is using basic
SEO techniques, and by submitting your site to the search
engines. No amount of press releases, newspaper ads,
banner ads, email or newsletter advertising will achieve the same
results. That's not to say that they aren't effective and that you
shouldn't use them but studies have shown that search engine
traffic can be much more beneficial.

The best way to submit your website for search engine ranking
and inclusion is to do it yourself or to hire an expert to do it
manually, by contacting the search engine companies and
directories. Beware of companies that promise automatic
submission of your website to hundreds of search engines which
are but only false promises.

Before you begin to submit your website to search engines ensure
your websites are thoroughly designed to the professional quality
using the right key words, good graphics and pictures and the
relevant content. Dont submit websites that are incomplete. While
submitting to a search engine, make sure to provide information
about your website, keywords and any other information that may
be pertinent, including the name and contact information of your
business.

Mere submission to search engine companies does not
guarantee that your site will be immediately listed and the
ranking will be high. Because there are thousands of new
websites coming up every day and it may take quite sometime
before your site is reviewed by human editors. One important
factor to remember while submitting site is to include a site map of
your website which makes the crawling easy for the web robots.
Search engines like Google have been known not to consider
submissions without site maps.

Here is a list of the most popular search engines and
directories that you can submit your site to:

Google
Yahoo
Whatuseek
ExactSeek
Scrubtheweb
AOL Search
HotBot
Search.com
Metacrawler
Dogpile
Lycos
MSN
LookSmart

This is only a few. There are actually thousands of search engines
and directories, that you can submit your website to.

Now, we've already talked about hiring a service that will submit
your site for you, but there is also software available that you can
use to submit your site to multiple search engine's at the same
time. If you decide you want to do your submissions yourself then
using a good piece of software can make your job much easier.
Here is a quick list of some of the popular software for you to
check out:

SEO Elite

Internet Business Promoter

WebPosition Gold

Web CEO

Of course there are many more available. and you can find one
that's perfect for you by doing a quick search in your favorite
search engine.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about submitting your site to the search
engines. In this issue we are going to go over the importance of
referrer logs.

Referrer logging is used to allow web servers and websites to
identify where people are visiting them either for promotional or
security purposes. You can find out which search engine they used
to find your site and whether your customer has come from a
linked site. It is basically the URL of the previous webpage from
which your link was followed.

By default, most hosting accounts dont include referrer logs but
may be subscribed for an extra monthly fee. If your web host
does not provide a graphic report of your log files, you can still
view the referrer logs for your website by logging into the host
server using free or low-cost FTP software, like these:

FTP Explorer: http://www.ftpx.com/
SmartFTP: http://www.smartftp.com/
FTP Voyager: http://www.ftpvoyager.com/
Cute FTP: http://www.cuteftp.com

The log file is available on your web server, which can be
download into your computer later. You can use a log analysis tool,
like those mentioned below, to create a graphic report from your
log files so that the files are easier to understand.

Abacre Advanced Log Analyzer http://www.abacre.com/ala/
Referrer Soft http://www.softplatz.com/software/referrer/
Log Analyzer http://www.loganalyzer.net

You can view the files using Word, Word Perfect, txt or WordPad.
In addition to identifying the search engine or the site from
where your visitor arrived, referrer logs can also tell you what
keywords or keyword phrases that your visitors used to find your
site.

You will find that once you are able to track the efforts of all your
SEO, advertising etc. you will be able to figure out which ones are
working the best for you. That way you can focus on improving
them to try to maximize your results.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about referrer logs. In this issue we are
going to talk about reciprocal link building and how it will help your
website ranking.

When it comes to SEO reciprocal link building is a long way
towards giving your site good rankings. Especially if your site is
relevant or related to the topic and subject of the site you are
linking to. It is also a very effective way to drive traffic to your site.

Reciprocal links have been around a long time. Unfortunately, they
are an often overlooked or an under-used method and as with any
strategy there are advantages and disadvantages involved. So,
should you be using reciprocal linking in your marketing strategy?

That is a very good question, and in today's issue we're going to
go over some things you should consider about reciprocal linking,
and how it will effect your business.

Let me ask you this question. How many times have you searched
for a Website to link to, only to find out that they don't even have a
links page?

Of those that do, few have an area on their website that actually
welcomes you to request a link trade. It seems these websites are
missing the boat when it comes to the World Wide Web's
strange, yet shockingly efficient linking system.

Before you begin your reciprocal linking plan. Here are some
things that you should consider:

- Make sure that you are linked to relevant sites meaning you both
have the same subject matter and at the same time all the links
are also related to each other.

- Remember that it's more about quality than quantity when it
comes to reciprocal link building. Look for quality sites that are
   related to your topic.

- Keep in mind that this is a long and sometimes frustrating
process because you still have to check to see if other websites
have agreed to the link exchange and you will need to check
periodically to see if the link to your site is still present on the
websites that you have made exchanges with.

- Be prepared for rejection. Some webmasters may turn down
your request. If that's the case, you may want to take their link off
  your site.

- Examine the other sites link pages, are they indexed and visited
by the major search engines? If the site doesn't have good
rankings it probably won't do you any good to link to them.

- When requesting a link exchange, consider the links that are
already displayed on the other site. They should be relevant
to your website. Also take the time to check and make sure that
the site doesn't have a lot of broken links, because it will effect
way the search engines spider the site.

- Another thing to consider is how many links are displayed on the
page you were thinking about linking to. It is a good idea not to
link with a page has more than 30 to 40 links on it.

Be sure to follow the basic link exchange rules set in place by the
sites you want to trade links with. The site that you are exchanging
links with should exist in major search engines and have good
traffic ranking. Alexa.com is a great way to check out a site's
rankings and traffic flow.

All and all-reciprocal linking can be a good, free way of achieving
high website ranking, but keep in mind that you should periodically
check the status of your links and site rankings, so that you can get
the most out of your efforts.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking
about tools that you can use to monitor your website.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about reciprocal linking and how it can
effect your business. In this issue we are going to go over some
tools that you can use to monitor your website.

Chances are if you've been online for awhile, you know that you
just can't build your website, plug in the right keywords and expect
your traffic and ranking will remain constant.

It takes a bit more effort than that. You have to keep track of your
results, plus keep a sharp eye on the competition. Doing this
doesn't have to be a complicated process. There are many useful
and free tools to help you find out what exactly what is going on,
including your own.

One of my favorite places to find a variety of tools that I can use to
keep track of my site and of any other site that I may be interested
in is the digitalpoint.com. Here is a quick list of some of the tools
that you can use to keep track of your site:

1. Keyword Ranking Tool - this tool allows you to track historical
search engine result placement data for any keyword you choose.
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/

2. Backlink Tracker Tool - this tool allow you to check search
engines for the number of back links to your site:
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/backlinks/

3. Geotargeting Website To Country Tool - this tool allows you to
find the physical location of any website. It can be used to
determine the location of your hosting service, or research the
country location of a particular competitors website:

4. Geovisitors - this tool that will automatically detect where your
site visitors are located all over the world.

5. Yahoo! WebRank - this tool will allow you to check the ranking
of any website in Yahoo.

6. PageRank Toolbar Widget For Macintosh - this tool will allow
you to check the ranking of a website using a Mac or Apple
computer:

7. Google AdSense Sandbox Tool - this tool provides you with
charts
and reports which will help you analyze traffic, clicks, and results
from
your AdSense advertising

8. Google AdSense Charts and Graphs - If you have an AdSense
account, you can analyze your website address or another website
address to see what Google ads will be displayed.
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/adsense-sandbox/

9. Free Web Counter - H this tool is a free website counters which
you can use on your website to track your traffic and hits:
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/counter/

Now, of course there are many more tools available other than the
one from digitalpoint.com. For instance, I like to use this tool
Xenu's Link Sleuth, it allows you to test your websites for broken
links: http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html

There is also software that you can download and use to monitor
multiple processes at one time. A lot of them come with free trials
and will require a slight learning curve, so that you can use them
effectively. To find a piece of software that will work for you just do
a search and you will discover that there are many available.

I guess the point that I am trying to make is that it is very important
to monitor your website, whether you use free tools like provided
in this issue, or you use software that will do the job for you.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about tools that you can use to monitor
your website. In this issue we are going using keywords in your
page titles.

As we have discussed before, if you want to achieve good search
engine rankings, you must use your keywords and keywords
phrases effectively, but did you know that it is important to use
your keyword in the page titles itself?

When you are optimizing your pages keep in mind that the title tag
is different from a Meta tag, but it's important to consider it as a
part of your SEO strategy. Whatever text you place in the title tag
(between the <title> and </title> portions) will appear in the title bar
of browsers when visitors view the page. Some browsers also
append whatever you put in the title tag by adding their own name,
as for example Microsoft's Internet Explorer or OPERA.

The actual text you use in the title tag is one of the most important
factors in how a search engine may decide to rank your web
page. In addition, all major web crawlers will use the text of your
title tag as the text they use for the title of your page in your listings.

If you have designed your website as a series of websites or
linked pages and not just a single Home Page, you must bear in
mind that each page of your website must be search engine
optimized. The title of each page i.e. the keywords you use on that
page and the phrases you use in the content will draw traffic to
your site.

The unique combination of these words and phrases and content
will draw customers using different search engine terms and
techniques, so be sure you capture all the keywords and phrases
you need for each product, service or information page.

The most common mistake made by small business owners when
they first design their website is to place their business name
in every title of every page. Actually most of your
prospective customers do not bother to know the name of your
business until after they have looked at your site and decided it is
worth book marking.

So, while you want your business name in the title of the home
page, it is probably a waste of valuable keywords and space to
put it in the title line of every page on your site. Why not consider
putting keywords in the title so that your page will display closer to
the top of the search engine listing.

Dedicating first three positions for keywords in title avoiding the
stop words like and, at and the like is crucial in search engine
optimization.

Another good tip is to keep the title tag less than 64 characters
long and do your best to ensure that the title tag and your meta
description are interesting, meaningful, and relevant to your site.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be going
over some tips your websites ranking and traffic.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about using key words in your title tag.
In this issue we are going to go over some tips for increasing your
website ranking and traffic.

Today, I want to talk to you about some simple rules that you can
follow that will help you to improve your search engine ranking and
the traffic to your site. You can also follow these techniques if you
are starting a new site or if your existing website is not ranked well
in search engines for certain keywords.

First of all, it is important to concentrate on the home page of your
site and once you learn the techniques, you will be able to apply
them to the other pages of your site so that you can have multiple
high ranking pages.

Let's go over some of the basic principles to achieving good
rankings in the search engines.

- Create a site with valuable content, products or services.

- Place primary and secondary keywords within the first 25
words in your page content and spread them evenly throughout
  the page.

- Research and use the right keywords and phrases to attract
  targeted visitors.

- Use your keywords in the right fields and references within
your pages. Like your title tags, meta tags, top heading and even
in the alt tags of images.

- Keep your site design simple so that your customers can
navigate easily between web pages, find what they want and buy
  products and services.

- Submit your web pages webpage and not just the home page, to
the most popular search engines and directories.

- Keep track of changes in search engine algorithms and
processes and accordingly modify your web pages so your
search engine ranking remains high. Use online tools and utilities
to keep track of how your website is doing.

- Monitor your competitors and the top ranked websites to see
what they are doing right in the way of design, navigation,
  content, keywords, etc.

- Use reports and logs from your web hosting company to see
where your traffic is coming from. Analyze your visitor location
and their incoming sources whether search engines or links from
other sites and the keywords they used to find you.

- Give your visitors plenty of ways to remember you, like
newsletters, free reports, rewards, gifts, coupons etc.

- Exploit your expertise by writing and submitting articles for your
   website or products.

- When selling products online, use simple payment and shipment
methods to make your customers experience fast and easy.

Keep these simple rules in mind every time you work on your
existing site or start a new site. If you spend a few days of
preparation up front it will pay off in the long run with better search
engine rankings and traffic.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking
about some tips that you can use to get repeat visitors to your
website.

See you next time,

website ranking and traffic. In this issue we are going to go over
some more tips that you can use to get repeat visitors to your
website.

When people visit your website chances are very likely that most
of them will leave within the first ten seconds, never to return again.
The worst part about this is they leave without buying anything.
They don't even take the time to leave you a name, number or
email address, so you have no idea how to reach them again.

In today's issue I'm going to go over some simple tips that you can
use to get people to come back to your website repeatedly.

Let's get started:

- Update the pages on your website frequently. Stagnant sites
are dropped by some search engines. You can even put a date
counter on the page to show when it was last updated.

- Offer additional value on your website. For affiliates and
partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask
them to do the same for you. You can also advertise their books
or videos, if these products relate to your industry and are not in
  competition with your own product.

- You can allow customers to opt in to get discounts and special
offers. Place a link on your site to invite customers to opt in to
get a monthly newsletter or valuable coupons.

- Add a link to your primary page with a script Book Mark or Add
   this site to your Favorites.

- Add a link Recommend this site to a Friend so that the visitor
can email your website link, with a pre written title, Thought you
might be interested in this, just by clicking on it.

- Brand your website so that visitors always know they are on
your site. Use consistent colors, logos and slogans and always
provide a Contact Us link on each page.

- Create a Our Policies page that clearly defines your
philosophy and principles in dealing with your customers. Also
post your privacy policy as well so that clients know they are
secure when they visit your site.

- Create a FAQ page which addresses most of the doubts and
clarifications about your product or your company that are likely
to be asked. This helps to resolve most of the customers doubts
in their first visit to your site.

- Ensure that each page on your website has appropriate titles
and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to
your site if they lose the book mark.

- Never spam a client, who has opted for newsletters, with
unsolicited emails. Later if they decide they want to opt out of
the mailings, be sure you honor their request and take them off
the mailing list. They may still come back if they like your
  products.

One more thing you can do is make your website more interactive.
Make it interesting and fun for them to stick around. Let's take a
look at MySpace as an example. Go to the main page and snoop
around. Not only do they provide a place for people to meet and
get to know each other, they have polls, classifieds, forums,
videos and more. All designed to get you to stick around and
come back again.

Now I'm not saying that you should try to compete with MySpace,
but what you can do is take the time to design your web pages so
that your visitors will want to click around for a while and get to
know you. Give them something to do and a reason to come back.
The longer you can keep their attention the more times you can
get them to come back the better for you and your business!

over some easy ways that you can optimize your website to get
more traffic.

Hello "autoresponder code here",

In the last issue we talked about some tips for getting repeat
visitors to your website. In this issue we are going to go over some
easy ways that you can optimize your website to get more traffic.

One of the most important aspects of having a successful
business website is how you are generating traffic. Without traffic
coming to your site it is impossible to achieve the success that
you desire. Therefore, it's important to evaluate how you are going
to generate high traffic volume. If you have been involved in any
type of Internet business chances are that you're aware of how
much time, money and effort that you have to devote to getting
traffic to your website.

Optimizing your website means you have to transform the content
of your website to a much smaller and streamlined form and
lessen your bandwidth usage while maintaining the way you want
your website to look. by doing this, you will definitely help save you
time and money.

Optimizing your website to drive traffic can sometimes seem
overwhelming, technical and complicated. But here are some tips
to easily help you optimize your site.

- Know your target visitors who will search for your site online.
You need to figure out what search phrases the surfers use so
they can find your site. Always decide on the keywords that you
are going to use. Think of some ideas that the surfer will type
  about your website.

- Next thing to do is to define a particular niche. You are certainly
going to cover a very broad topic. The rule of the thumb is to
optimize your website with the best keyword. Your Keyword
should be direct enough so the searcher will find your site right
away and he will not get lost.

- As we have discussed before, pay close to your title tags. For
those who don't know, a title tag describes a particular page of
your site. They are actually HTML tags that contains text. When
you use a title tag, make sure that it accurately describes the
  content of your page.

For instance, if the content on your page is about how to cook a
spaghetti squash then the title tag should contain the words
"Spaghetti Squash". Always place your keywords in the title tag.
This way any topic related to your page will be easier to find.

The title tag is very important since search engines look for title
text when they are going to the index page.

- It is very important to analyze your keywords. You can use a good
keyword analyzer tool. One of the most popular is Google's
  Keyword Selection Tool.

- Always consider your keyword density. This is one way to
optimize your webpage. Keyword phrases should appear at least
three to five times in the content on your page.

- Always place your keyword in your when you are creating the
content for your site. When search engines scan your site they
rate the text in your headline. So you should place it in the page
  headline.

website. If you follow them then you will see your sites search
